TRADE CONTRACTOR - SELECTION

Example of an old version of a "Summary & Recommendation" document that all Senior level BSM's should be capable of facilitating, producing and finally presenting. (The current version(s) link is/are presently disabled, but this gives the general idea)

This historical archieved 2014/2015 example, was a basic two stage recommendation hence based on 1st stage recommendation cost planning but in this case resulted when giving a full process/open-book procedure style report including client sit-in, created 170 pages due to the extent of contents... (Names/Sections/Content removed and/or adapted for professional reasons)

The extent was driven by the open book approach and the requirement to prove a true professional process hence why Keevan was chosen to do this document, he actually collated this document on a beach in Spain whilst on annual leave having the call asking to get it done that day due to client demand so he sat under in an umbrella sipping soft drinks whilst others were enjoying the sun.

(Sometimes you have to get things done and play catch up on real life afterwards/when finished)

Summary & Recommentation
Front Page

This is an old version (2014/2015) shown due to updates being withheld from the market as we don't want everyone just copying, the idea is to make your own but with guildance.

Technical Interview Example

Each member of the interview team has one of these documents and then post interview, all the individual scores are combined to produce an aggregated percentage score for each attending subcontractor.

(Basic) CSA Cost Plan Example

All subcontractors should be given the same commercial documentation to complete without which, it becomes difficult in establishing missed items and alike with subcontractors tenders that some companies will use to appear best value only to later increase their original cost plan sums based on stating they never allowed for it which is why the tender information pack and the returned clarification and assumptions require careful review, and should be returned in the same format to allow both ease of both levelling bids and plugging any gaps.

Post-Tender Subcontractor Questionnaire

Before attending the scored interview trades should be asked to complete a questionaire which will be reviewed/discussed during the interview.

Commercial Adjudication

This is an PCSA 1st Stage cost plan base-levelling format example, but limited content due to the fact that the sums were compiled from the cost-plan CSA shown on the left of this example, it’s a cost plan so examples of full project single stage tenders can be shown in addition but these are available upon request and reason, otherwise this webpage would too large to read through, and its intention is only to show processes and practises exist.
